Hi,

Some friends and I are trying to decide between two spring trail runs: the Doogies trail run in Warda on 3/5 or the Camp Eagle trail run on 2/28. Two of us want to do our first 50 miler. Two others want to do shorter distances. We all also want to spend a weekend in the woods away from the city. Can anyone help with advice? Our prime considerations are: quality of race organization, amount/quality of race support, and type of terrain. We've been to Camp Eagle and it's a great place. We've never been to Bluff Creek Ranch, which is hosting the Doogies Run.

Neither race site has much info posted just yet, and I know the dates are far off, but it's getting to be time to pick one and start increasing training.

thanks.
