Runners World describes some shoes as being better for "clydesdale runners". I recently bought a pair of Brooks Beast, then realized it was recommended for this type of runner or for heavier runners. I need a good motion control shoe, and I'm barely 150lbs. Will I not get all of the benefits of these shoes because I'm not a "clydesdale"? Generally, is it better for me to get a motion control shoe for lighter than clydesdale runners or does it even matter? I'm not sure whether or not I'm getting the full effect of the cushioning, perhaps because I'm not heavy enough. Any helpful thoughts or suggestions? Thanks. Also, any advice as to other good shoes in this category would be much appreciated.
